How To Create a Digital Floor Plans

Autodesk Home Styler

You can use Autodesk home styler to create floor plans without needing to download the application.

1. Switch on your computer system.

3. Connect your system to internet

5. Search for Autodesk Home styler

7. You will get a free trial for a limited time period.
8. Click on start designing
9. Drag and design the closest shape of your room from templates.
10. You can edit the template to shape it into mirror image of your room
11. Cut or split walls to make it half, add walls to make it bigger.
12. Select home icon at top left hand area.
13. Select windows.
14. You can use toggle button to view the room in 2D or 3D
15. Add furniture and decorations as per your requirements.
16. Add electronics, color of the walls, flooring and even a counter top.
17. Once you're finished putting all of the items into a room, you can save the floor plan.
18. Sign up for a free account to save your design.
19. Having an account will also let you share the floor plan on social media.
20. You can also design outdoor spaces.

This software or application is available only for Apple users specifically fir iPhone devices only.

1. Unlock your iPhone
2. Go to apple store
3. Search for Roomscan
4. Download and install it
5. Open the application
6. Hold your phone against the walls separately
7. Open phone camera for scanning
8. Draw designs manually
9. For advance features and functions you will need to buy a premium version of the application.
10. Room scan provides you with measurements of the room.
